Agreed. He should be retained and no one should question it. Is there anything better than the lifetime contract he currently has?

Game one to dad... I was 5 points away... When he won a hand after about 3 draws for 70 point win.

 

On to game two.

Maybe you need to wear him down?  Maybe by game 25 he will start making mistakes.

Dad... Is setting up the card table... That didn't take long... I walk in the door... Give him a hug and he turns around and gets the card table...

 

Looks like I'm gonna have to concentrate on Gin.

 

Dad remembers every card that is played so I gotta try and match that or lose badly.

 

He rolls his eyes when I discard an 8 after he picked up an 8 around 10 cards ago.

 

Good grief. That's how my dad played gin, too. We have the same dad! "Luke, I'm your father!"

I hope that Gibson can start next season where he is leaving off in this game.  This young man seems to have great potential.
