I'm searching for a word to describe today's game, despite Hughes' effort, and the end of this season.  

 

"Desultory" comes to mind.

I didn't see the game but if you factor in that 4 of those K's came against the relievers.

 

I don't think it was all Quintana.

 

I'm guessing a large part has to be attached to our Twins.

I suppose national title hopes were dashed. I was liking the Gophers chances after Eastern Illinois and Middle Tennessee State.

 

It looks like the Gophers may struggle with schools that don't have a direction in their name.

 

If Kill would just schedule Louisiana Schools... They could run the table.
