Dodgers sign a Saint Paul Saint

MLB Trade Rumors is saying that that the Dodgers have signed St. Paul Saint Wes Roemer to a minor league deal.

It seems like the Saints must have been full of talent or something. I swear I've seen a lot of posts about members getting minor league contracts.

Lots of the good independent teams do that. I follow the Fargo/Moorhead Redhawks and just last week, they sent two players to affiliated teams. That's the great thing about independent ball. Makes for future stories and another opportunity.
