Platoons

For the love of all gods. Platoons are proven to be good options when you have the kinds of players that the Twins do (though they do need a another LH infielder . . . ). Plouffe and Valencia may not be anything beyond platoon players. And that's ok if they have platoon partners. I don't mind a Mastroianni/Komatsu platoon in RF for awhile (not what Gardenhire has done, of course).
