Jeremy Nygaard Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 6, 2014 Author Posted May 6, 2014 If you have any questions for Seth or myself, ask away. Questions such as "Seth, were you really part of an early Saturday morning photo shoot and did you wear your Diamond Awards suit?" are totally acceptable.
KOHG Provisional Member Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 1) When is Nunez going to be up?2) Any concern about Gibson's strikeout rate going to catch up with him?3) Colabello seems to have cooled off alot which was to be expected probably wasn't going to knock in 200 runs, but where do you guys project Colabello final line to be avg, ops, hr etc... I find myself rooting for the guy more so then others, but I worry that he might not be able to cut it....What does Colabello have to do to stay in the majors for the twins?4) Now that the book is out that the twins are not a good hitting ball club so why heck aren't you throwing them strikes. Teams are now throwing them strikes....What adjustments to the roster are the twins going to need to make to reboost the offense.
KOHG Provisional Member Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Besides colabello letting the ball go between his legs allowing a run:(
Paul Pleiss Verified Member Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 If the Twins were sold tomorrow, in a mid-season deal, and moved to another location, say Portland, OR, would you remain a Twins fan or find another team to root for? If you choose another team, which team would that be? I'd choose an NL team, feeling that my choices are A) remain a twins fan, or choose an NL club. Or mabye I'd just choose the Mariners because I'm living out here and Safeco is a good place to watch a ball-game.
Paul Pleiss Verified Member Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Why haven't the Twins tried to sign Barry Bonds as a bench bat? Dude could probably still put up a .220/.310/.430 line.
Paul Pleiss Verified Member Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 If Chris Herrmann grows out his hair again, circa 2012 call-up, would his numbers begin to resemble his 2012 numbers from New Britain? Is there any hope that he could be a pseudo-offensive player or is he just a warm body on the bench who can catch games and therefore allow Pinto to keep DHing?
Paul Pleiss Verified Member Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Seth, if you were pitted against Jeremy in a "professional" wrestling match to raise money for charity, what would your wrestling name be? Jeremy, same question, and do you think you could win?
Paul Pleiss Verified Member Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Jeremy last week you said some very not-mean things about the starting rotation. This week they were better, some of them anyways. Tell me some not so nice things about the rotation as a whole, and then give me a reason to think they will regress towards something more positive.
Paul Pleiss Verified Member Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Brad Swanson loves Eduardo Escobar. Do you love him too? #Eddie400 Will Escobar end the season with more or less than 400 at bats?
lightfoot789 Verified Member Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 What happens with a crowded Miracle outfield when Dalton Hicks comes off DL and Kepler goes back to OF? and Lance Ray; Nate Roberts; come off DL and JD Williams leaves CR?
Jeremy Nygaard Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 7, 2014 Author Posted May 7, 2014 The episode will be up on iTunes around 430 this afternoon. That is, if MLB is ok with it.
Paul Pleiss Verified Member Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 MLB hates independent podcasters who have apparently breached trademark laws by citing they have a "Minnesota Twins" podcast. MLB, I love you, but I also hate you.
