mudcat14 Verified Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Any word on how my fellow Iowan BJ Hermsen has fared this spring? I know he was battling injury early last season and never seemed to recover. He is still only one season removed from being the Twins Minor League Pitcher of the Year. Dare I get my hopes up for a rebound season?
Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 health will be a big thing for him. He'll be able to extend and find his release point and that pinpoint control again. He'll begin the season in the New Britain bullpen.
cmathewson Provisional Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 I was looking for the Red Wings roster before its official release yesterday and saw a preliminary roster with him in the rotation in place of Alex Meyer. So apparently someone thinks he pitched better this spring than last year. I look forward to a healthy season for him, wherever he lands.
