Santana needs to go down asap!

Twins Video

His confidence is shot. Just the opposite of last year. Send him down now, so he can work it out, regain confidence and be ready to help the twiins in 2nd half.

You can see he is playing under a tremendous amount of self imposed pressure.

I am believer in Santana although was never a fan of taking ss away from Escobar. Happy Paul plays Escobar in outfield. For those who talked of trading Escobar I said then and now that would be lunacy just for the reason you are witnessing now.

The other thing I would do is keep Rosario, I dont have a clue with what to do with Arcia, Trade maybe?

Like I've post before,  if the pressure on Santana is due to his defense at SS and it is affecting his hitting, why not move him back to CF and install Escobar as the starting SS?  Hicks isn't doing so well that he's a mortal lock at CF.  Although his BA is back up to .255 now.  Dump Schaefer [THAT I think is a mortal lock] and contemplate Robinson, as well.

Trade Arcia?  Well, you'd have to try and sell him as a player with potential and power.  Which would bring up the question:  Why are you trying to trade him?

The Twins have the best record on the American League. Calm down. Hicks absolutely needs to stay in center, although I was wondering today if Santana was more comfortable last year in center than this year at ss. He just needs more time. I trust Molitor to make the call you are suggesting. Rosario will stay in left as long as he continues to hit, Molitor wants defense in the outfiled. I don't really care about Arcia. He dosen't take care of himself and is always injured. He is on the list for a DH call up, that is the only place I see him now.
