The Great Twins Mystery - Horrible Pitching

Twins Video

I want your help with this. The Twins draft Pitcher after Pitcher, and have failure after failure, How does that work?

Even their two top prospects, May and Meyer, were traded for. Why can't the Twins develop pitching?

Some organization seem to always have pitching, Rays, A's, Yankees (but they purchase theirs don't they?

How about Seatte? Where do they get their great young pitchers? Ok, some of you stats guys, will chew me up about these respective teams.

Please help with this question, Are the Twins exceptionally terrible with developing pitching or are most other teams also...pretty bad.

Honestly, it feels to me...that the Twins are pretty much like other teams...Occasionally a keeper, but very few.

How much of this is Rick Anderson, and how much is the talent pool, or maybe those two things are mutually exclusive. I look forward to your thoughts.

Rays and Reds seem to be the 2 clubs, along with the Dodgers who can develop pitching.  Twins seem to be worse than most. Some of this has been signability in the 1990's when big market clubs and agents could game the system.  Under the new CBA most of that has changed and will see how many of the 7 - 10 decent starters the Twins now have in their system will make it.  My best guess is 2-3.
