Dobnak is set to earn 3 million in salary this season. He has value in that if he is sent to the minors, it's doubtful someone would claim his contract. He can be optioned for a fresh arm and brought back up again later in the season. There is value in that. as a reliever and maybe a spot start here or there, I am guessing he is the bulk reliever for multi-inning assignments.
