    Can't argue with that. But firing up the old charcoal grill and throwing on some chicken thighs with a sprinkling of Morton's SeasonAll.... that with a few beers on a Sunday afternoon in the summer is nirvana.

    Been listening to the game while doing some grilling in the backyard. I won't say what I made so as not to jinx what's happening.

    Not quite sure of what to make of Minneapolis' reputation. It seems to me that attendance at Wolves' games would be down also with Target Center being right on 1st Ave N, and the Vikings to a lesser extent, since they are on the other side of downtown. I too have not experienced anything untoward in my years of going to Target Field, and I either ride my bike or take the #5 bus to games. Anecdotal evidence can be tricky.

    Just got back from retrieving carless/carfree - or was it careless/carefree?....(no, no, no, the first one) grad student daughter from Winnipeg. Tuned into 'CCO on the way back. Missed a bunch of the action when we transitioned from the car to home sweet home. Finally turned on the game, just after BB homered. I think I have a man-crush on Joe Ryan. Side note: Squirrel, how in the name of all that is right and good and true in the world can you lump hotdogs and brats in the same choice for ballpark food? They are separate categories. Yes they are both encased in digestive tract material, but hot dogs are pure and simple. With brats, like sausage, we may not want to know what goes into them but they are delicious. I demand a recount.
