Dozier is 3 for 3 so far today...looks like Gardy's office visit hit home with him.
  2. TwinVike61
How about the demotions of Valencia (and Blackburn hopefully)?
  3. TwinVike61
I'm sure it does to them...
  4. TwinVike61
Duane Below pitched in relief against the Twins on May 27. Mauer singled then was picked off first then 3 fly outs. That was the game that Cabrera hit a 2 run homer off Crapps...
  5. TwinVike61
And I noted one incorrect use of "mute" and a later correct use of "moot"...
  6. TwinVike61
How about the most popular misuse...They're there for their game?
  7. TwinVike61
Wow, RiverBrian, you're right...it is easy to slander somebody...
  8. TwinVike61
...or to keep them from trading valuable players for magic beans and shiny trinkets.
  9. TwinVike61
    I think that's a typo but...a butt ticket ?
  10. TwinVike61
    wow...thanks for elevating the conversation...
  11. TwinVike61
So, does there have to be a corresponding move at NB to make room on the roster?
  12. TwinVike61
I got to see the Timber Rattlers short stop last year in rookie ball here in Helena. It looks like Yadiel Riveria is still a good ballplayer to two walk-off hits vs. the Snappers.
  13. TwinVike61
I guess I'd rather have them sit on their hands...with the exception of our Capital C Closer for any potential pitching prospect.
  14. TwinVike61
Wow, I'm glad I'm not the only one who had no idea what that referred to...
  15. TwinVike61
I just saw that on MiLB.com that Terry Doyle took a no-hitter into the 9th inning for Chicago's AAA Club in Charlotte. He took a no-hitter into the 8th on Memorial Day. http://www.milb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20120607&content_id=32951058&fext=.jsp&vkey=news_milb

I guess it's all relative...compared to the NIshiYoshiYucki signing...it looked somewhat better.
  17. TwinVike61
Put it in the books...a 3 hit shutout. Yes!!
  18. TwinVike61
    Hammered!!!!!!!
  19. TwinVike61
I'm wondering how short the leash will be and who's likely to releive him in the 4th or 5th inning if needed.
  20. TwinVike61
I was thinking along those lines, too.
  21. TwinVike61
You are saying he would go back to the Nats if we don't keep him on the 25 man roster...right?
  22. TwinVike61
OK, I'm officially not going to respond to your post...oops...I guess I am...I just want to respond that it's not hating Joe Mauer...it's the contract.
  23. TwinVike61
Maybe cuz they'd have to put the Tasmanian Delmon in the field more.
  24. TwinVike61
Whew... now at least Joe can't ground into a double play...
  25. TwinVike61
Perkins must have just wanted to face Delmon.
