Castro smoked that one. Let’s hope he’s turning it around at the plate.

Maybe Strailly can be Eddie’s pitcher in the home run derby this year.

Depends on what she was hopeful of.
  4. Don Walcott
Maybe he thought we were playing the Tigers, and ended up in Detroit?

Great AB by Rosario. Seven or eight unhittable pitches, then when he finally works the count to 3-2, he mashes a mistake.

So true! Saw Dylan, Petty, Dead there, and from the smoke, it was clear the Dome was a Dead-Head.

It also looks like he was planning to use Perez in this game, but wanted to pinch hit for the pitcher’s position in the next half inning. So he didn’t go to Perez.

    Does everyone include Rocco?

If by “gutsy,” you mean “reckless,” I concur.

As long as he gets bailed out here.

Odo threw one to the backstop, and it bounced back kindly. McNeil came down the line about half way and stopped. Then he froze there while we threw him out at third.

    Nice tag by Tortuga.
  13. Don Walcott
McNeil doing his deer in headlights act.

What happened to the 35-pitch rule?

No cycle for Polanco. He’s such a disappointment!!
  16. Don Walcott
    Will Polanco get up?

    Schoop clearly has some power.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Tortuga does against DeGrom. Tortuga has to start, right?

    There’s your run!!

La Makkkkkkkkkkina!!! Bring your A-game and keep making your case for being a Cy Young contender! I'm disappointed Tortuga is not in the lineup. I hope Ehire, Marwin and Castro justify their selections today.

    Wiener, wiener, chicken diener.

Realmuto hits higher up when he starts.
  23. Don Walcott
    And the third out, please.
  24. Don Walcott
    How could he walk Tortuga?
  25. Don Walcott
Thankfully, we don’t have to see Parker in a save situation.
