  1. Not only is he hitting, but he is hitting the ball solidly. I could handle more of this.
  2. Walters sure seems to have calmed down after being a little wild on the first. Hopefully his pitch count will stay low enough for him to give us 7 solid innings today.
  3. Mauer does not appear to be running well. That double play grounder he hit was not hit hard and I thought it would have been a much closer play at first.
  4. Good to see Morneau put a good swing on the ball, especially driving it to left center. Hopefully, Plouffe is starting to gain some confidence as well.
  5. If that's true, that doesn't say much about his conditioning and stretching.
  6. I didn't see the injury. What did he do to hurt it? Hopefully he won't be out to long as he has been pretty clutch the last few weeks.
  7. I would like to see DeVries get a shot too.
  8. It seems impossible for the Twins to score some runs and follow up by by putting a zero on the board. This is getting so old.
  9. I would like to see Revere up on the team as well. He is definitely a spark plug. I haven't paid much attention to his at-bats in AAA. He certainly has a good batting average but does anyone know if he has been taking more walking, bunting, and doing the things they wanted him to work on?
  10. I know it's still early, but I am liking Dozier more and more.
  11. Nice win...a little too close for comfort though.
  12. Thatta boy Big D. Finally a hit with the bases juiced.
  13. I didn't see the play where he got hit but he certainly does appear a little stiff in his delivery. Hopefully he can start getting his pitches back down in the zone.
  14. I feel fortunate to have been in attendance for both Diamond's and Walters' starts this week. It was nice to see some good starting pitching for a change. It's just too bad we couldn't get a couple more runs for Walters.
  15. A win's a win...and I'll take it!
  16. Come on Cappie, let's send 'em down in order.
  17. I would sure like to have at least one more run heading to the 9th.
  18. Willingham the gold glover, nice play!
  19. Nice double play there by Parmelee and Dozier.
  20. Yes, Burton has been such a pleasant surprise. Although it is still early in the season, it is great to see a pitcher with a BAA well below 0.100.
  21. Nice to see Mastroianni get his second career hit and give us an insurance run.
  22. Nice hit and run there by Span. Let's build on this and get some runs.
  23. Whether the Angels have seen Diamond or not, I will take 7 scoreless innings any day of the week. I was also impressed with Dozier. I know we should expect some ups and downs with him, but hopefully he can continue to play hard, learn, and develop confidence at this level.
  24. I was impressed with Dozier tonight. He reached base 3 times and made several nice plays at shortstop. He seems to have reasonably good range and made accurate throws to first.
  25. I think both of these guys deserve a shot. I am thinking that one of them will be coming up soon because we can't go too many more starts with Liriano performing like this.
