    It's nice to see Revere's BA sitting in the 0.290s after today's game. Hopefully he can build on that and work on drawing more BBs.

    Admittedly, I don't know a lot about this guy. But I am excited by the possibility of anyone who could potentially come up and help this team and maybe be a part of the future.

    Yeah, his BA has gone from .300 to the .260s in the blink of an eye. He seems to be taking a lot of good pitches and whiffing on ones he should be taking. Hopefully he gets is straightened out soon.

    I don't know. Even with a good recovery, most guys aren't that effective their first year back from TJ surgery. I think I still wouldn't pick up his option and if he wants to resign he can do so for less and then prove himself. If he walks, he walks.

    Age definitely brings perspective to life and the game. I remember watching Kirby Puckett play and being happy if he got four hits even if the Twins lost. Now, as a 32 year old, I think I would prefer a good win over an individual player's offensive performance.

    I agree. I never saw the point in claiming Komatsu. He certainly has more potential than Clete Thomas but at the same time he doesn't bring much to the table right now and your hands are tied as far as being able to send him down.

    Hopefully Manship can be productive and help this pitching staff out. It will be interesting to see what roster move they make.

    Let's get some early runs for Cole and take the pressure off a little bit. Hopefully he pitches well and gets a win in his debut and the team gets a series win against their rivals from the South Side.

    Maybe he looks so serious because he is sick of carrying that pinkish/purplish lunchbox on the way from the dugout to the bullpen. The initiations that ballplayers go through are quite humorous.

    Dominant showings by both the offense and the pitching have been extremely hard to come by this year. Usually if one is great, the other falters. It was great to see the team put it all together. Hopefully this continues.

    Congrats to DeVries. I hope he does well and proves his worth to the team going forward whether that be in the starting rotation or the bullpen. We've had good results with the pitchers called up this year, so I hope he continues the trend.

    I was surprised he was hitting 93-94 on the gun a couple of times. I also liked his change up that he stuck out Gomez on.

    I think the time to get Slama up is now. I'd slide Swarzak into the starting rotation until Hendriks is ready.
