    I agree with you more than 99% of the time, but Mauer's knee worries me whenever it seems endangered.

    I remember when Mauer first injured his knee, and would hate to have it suffer any more than necessary. The Twins are not in contention and a Mauer knee injury could hurt them for years to come. So I did not mind the glide into second.
