    Well played. I actually have 3 different batches in various stages of fermentation at the moment. That plus several different styles already completed and drinkable. I might need to switch to the double IPA to deal with this game.

    Well, at least Ozzie seems to have got a pitch to his liking.

    I think it really means that if I shave, he'll shave his beard shortly afterwards. I'll wait to make that decision until at least May. I want to make sure we get a large enough sample size before we determine if the beard has any effect on his play. Well, I'm well on my way to that. My softball slash line for the season so far is 1.000/1.000/1.250. It's only a sample size of 4 ABs though. Hopefully Mauer can move his slash line a little closer to mine over the course of the season.

    I think he decided to copy me. I have had sideburns for years. Last October, I decided to grow a bread... Now Joe has a beard. He didn't start growing this beard until after I was down in Ft. Myers for spring training. Coincidence? I'm thinking no.

    Tough to say how truth is behind this rumor. There seems to be a few people that are refuting this right away. Then again, Jeff Loria has done some pretty unconventional (and sometimes confusing) things in the past. I could see it going either way, and I agree, if the Twins could snatch him up and make him a bench coach or something in the future, I would definitely be in favor of it. I'm leaning towards this being early season overreaction by fans and sports writers at the moment though.
