  1. Cubs acquire Jose Quintana from WhiteSox for Eloy Jiménez, Dylan Cease, Matt Rose and Bryant Flete. Pretty high price tag, Cubs top two prospects in Jiménez and Cease.
  2. He does have kind of a cool delivery. Almost like he's in an old western and he's drawing his gun and firing it to the plate. http://www.milb.com/multimedia/vpp.jsp?content_id=1043155583&sid=milb
  3. Any indication who the other 3 pieces are?
  4. Haha...always was a fan, perpetually underrated. Though the writing was on the wall once they drafted Randy Moss.
  5. MLB.com places Pat Light at #15 on the Twins prospect list. Between Wander Javier and Jake Reed.
  6. Interesting fact: the Twins actually drafted Pat Light in the 28th round of the 2009 draft.
  7. No Polanco in the starting lineup tonight, Escobar at SS, Sano at 3B, Dozier at 2B, Grossman at DH. Awesome.... Polanco must have some seriously jet lag, or Molitor just isn't going to budge on doing what's right for this team and its development
  8. I will preface this with the fact that I do like Palka and his outlook, but what separates him from Adam Brett Walker? Looking below, his stats from the first half of AA and ABW2's stats from the first half of AA in 2015 are rather similar. G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI BB SO SB CS Palka (2016 - AA - 1st half) 66 249 35 68 12 4 16 54 31 84 5 2 Walker (2015 - AA-1st half) 66 248 46 67 17 2 19 59 19 101 2 2 Now I know that Walker both struck out and walked at a worse rate, though it wasn't too far off. Also keep in mind that Walker was a full year younger than Palka at the same level (they are roughly a week apart). I know Palka had 24 SB last year, but that has disappeared this year. My only thought it plate discipline, but as seen above they are more similar there than people realize. There is little question that the raw power Walker has is second to none. My question is why is Palka viewed as the better prospect? (yes, it's nit picking, but I think it's an interesting talker)

  11. Haha well played my friend! I set myself up for that one
  12. Another fellow Stillwater grad, class of 2007. I was a 2003 graduate, wedged right between him and Glen Perkins.
  13. Cederoth and Tonkin
  14. Nitpicking, but McGee is a lefty.
