    with lewis playing like this id be more than willing to move gordon in a trade..him kiriloff and rooker might(MIGHT) all be in minnesota by next season... crazy to think a third of the lineup could be made up of players with only one full season of minor league ball but its a definite possibility

    any condiseration having rooker as high as four on the prospect list.. i think his ceiling is higher than Gordon and gonsalves and he is knockin on the big league door himself.. kiriloff might be overbshadowing him a bit but hes puttin up big numbers at aa for his first professional season

    I'm all in on thorpe with you.. He's the most intriguing high upside guy in the system in my opinion

    Great perspective.. The journey is what's important.. Who cares is they lose the playoff game everyone assumed the season would be over anyways..

    Another thing that fits with erasing that run differential in one month is Polancos batting average it went up around 40 or 50 points didn't it? Pretty crazy

    I think thorpe is our best prospect(at least highest ceiling ) .. From the left side he's touching mid 90s with a plus out pitch. If we have an ace in our system I'd argue it'd be him if not for the injury think about where he'd be at his Age.. Must add imo

    Assuming Romero is done for the year.. Will rooker be to the big leagues by next summer? If Lewis weren't blocked by Buxton at center I think it would be interesting how aggressive they'd push him is he has a big postseason.. This year's draft class has been a lot of fun to watch already

    Glad to see curtis up.. Of all the bullpen arms in the system he's the one I've been looking forward to most..

    Call him up in September and put him in the bullpen.. Limit his innings load and give him big league experience

    Besides I health issues I really like our bullpen depth especially in the upper minors.. One thing that hasn't been talked about a lot if the potential of kohl Stewart moving to the pen.. When he was drafted a lot of scouts thought he'd end up closing by the time he arrived to the big leagues.. He's got great stuff and is a great athlete maybe a move to the pen unlocks something and gets his swing and miss up...

    I don't understand why giminez us still on this roster he's hitting 200. And is hitting sixth in the lineup it's beyond frustrating having Garver sit at triple a for him.. I don't care how good he is in the clubhouse it's time for him to get dfa'd

    Watching giminez hit really makes me wish Garver called up.. It's beyond ridiculous at this point..

    I hope hildenberger opens up the front office's eyes and they give guys with really strong resumes a chance I the pen for the rest of the season.. Mainly John curtis but others fit the bill

    I assumed once clay got moved back to the pen they'd be aggressive with him given his age but I guess not.. Seems to be a reoccurring theme with college relief pitchers dominating their level but not gettin promoted.. (curtis, hildenberger)

    Most definitely agree with what you said. I'm just saying the typical Friday starters in the sec are better or more talented I should say than the Midwest league.. The average pro player is for sure better tho .. I'm just saying rooker crushed sec pitching which leads me to believe he's ready for a ball

    I'd make Gordon available only for an ace. Would rather move Polanco or dozier though.. Surprised no mention of Palacios in this article I think he's the guy to watch at short.. If a first round pick or big bonus international signing was putting up his numbers at short they'd be a top 20 prospect in all of baseball.. I think it's worth trading a of and shortstop for pitching.. U have to deal from positions of excess to fill in the holes ..

    Rooker needs to move up. Sec caliber baseball us probably a tiny notch up from cedar Rapids even he should probably be in ft Myers but at least cedar Rapids.. Will be really interesting seeing who goes where with all DE LA Torre wander and royce.. Crazy how fast shortstop became the systems strongest prospect position(ceiling wise) after being desperate for a prospect for a decade ..

    I think the best way to get granite up and get at bats is to get Kepler in at first base.. He played it a lot in the lower level of the minors and assuming Mauer is about done in Minnesota Kepler could be the long term first baseman if need be.. Although I doubt they want to waste his athleticism at first in the short term it could get everybody at bats.. If u did that obviously vargas would be the one to go.. If Grossman has any trade value I'd move him for a reliever I still don't think he fits in long term

    Will be interesting to see how much center Lewis plays with Ricardo on the roster.. He is definitely more advanced defensively at short.. A lot of scouts think he has the best chance to stick at short in the entire draft for any prep player

    Any chance Gonsalves or Romero end up getting an emergency call up this summer.. This series starting pitching lineup is depressing.. They are really reaching this is already nine starters used this season

    I meant long term like after this season.. I'm assuming the plan going forward us Polanco and Gordon.. Dozier will be coming into his final year i can't imagine they'll resign him to a big deal and block Gordon.. Granite might make things interesting as well.. Give the offense a whole added element in the leadoff spot
