    Boogie to the Warriors. I’ll eat my word happily if I’m wrong, but I just don’t see this working for them. Seems almost uncharacteristically desperate for GS, in the wake of the Lebron decision. A statement move.

    Not a current movie, but I can’t remember if I’ve recommended this one to TD folks before... I LOVE sports movies, and I can only assume many of you do as well. I have one single favorite of all time. Just so happens, it’s World Cup time at the moment, so it’s a topical one as well, and I’m going to rewatch it this evening. The Damned United. Best sports movie (non documentary) ever. Find it, watch it, enjoy.

    This tournament has been full of awesome games so far. With my Azzurri failing to qualify, I thought i’d just pass on the whole deal, but it’s been great. Go Mexico!

    This is going to be an offseason that will be probably even more entertaining that the whole season of basketball that preceded it. So, we basketball fans should feel blessed. First, LeBron. Yes, there’s that. Second, I read that the Lakers’ championship odds jumped from 20-1 to 6-1 thanks solely to the rumor that Kawhi wants to leave San Antonio in favor of some other team (probably the Lakers, probably also because of LeBron). So ****’s pretty weird already. My prediction prior to today was that LBJ was going to San Antonio. I’m not sure that prediction is shaken, honestly. But my first question is: will Kawhi honestly turn down a supermax deal? I mean, really? It’s not like he’s leaving the Magic or some stupid team. Something’s going on, and it’s about to get real.

    I think that’s a pretty bitter stance to take. Vegas is the best team in the West. They took down the Kings, the Sharks, and the Preds. They deserve their chance.

    Unreal. Can’t wait for the 30 for 30. I mean, this team started from scratch. The poise they’ve shown in the longer term, matched with the resiliency they’ve demonstrated game by game...unreal. Go Knights. Give em hell.

    Silicon Valley season 5 was solid gold despite the absence of Erlich Bachman. Even if you just fast forward to the last episode wherein Richard dresses up in his celebratory pied piper costume, solid gold.
