    As I stated earlier, it may not be quite the forgone conclusion that vegas wouldn't take Pommer if available. Vegas will no doubt want some veteran leadership. He can still score, if only in bunches. And Vegas will actually need some cap impact to be compliant. Not saying it would be likely, but who knows?

    My first thought was that Brian Boyle does nothing for me. Then, I got to thinking that a depth Center is almost a must for this team looking into the near future. I can't really think of any better options. Would be good to have a guy that offers depth without crowding the roster.

    I would absolutely protect Nino over Zucker. Without question.

    I meant that Haula could replace Zucker. Wouldn't be ideal of course, but you could probably put this guy on a line with Koivu and Granlund right now and he'd look pretty good.

    Having graduated from college in the past 10 years, I can attest that teaching is no more than a back up plan for a lot of students. So, that's not an ideal situation.

    The way Pommer's been cruising lately, do you think there's a chance he would not agree to waive the NMC, out of fear he might get drafted? Seems far fetched that he'd get picked, but he's a captain and he's led the league in scoring since mid January.

    I like to think I'm not a total dummy. Having said that, I feel compelled to predict that Ryan Vogelsong will be a solid contributor in the twins rotation. I don't know when he'll make his first start, but he's been written off before. He's a ball player, and I think he can't do anything but impress.
