Yes, it does seem early, but technically it's not. Hurricane season is considered to be between June 1 and November 30. So, they pack up and move for a storm that may hit every other year. Yes, it's a big storm ... but pack up and move to a place that has tornadoes and floods and blizzards? Seems like a lot to do to trade one natural disaster for another.

Derek Jeter -- People are talking about this being the final visit to Minnesota by Derek Jeter. It also might be the last visit for Brian Roberts and Zelous Wheeler. Yet nobody is talking about them. 5. Hurricanes -- it seems early but Hurricane Arthur made things wet and windy for the Carolina outer banks. While it is not the height of hurricane season. I do think you should be prepared... Step 1... Stock up on food and water for your family for at least 3 days. Step 2... Move to Minnesota. Step 3... Sell your house on the coast. If you follow those three steps... You should be safe this hurricane season.

The CSO is a higher ranked orchestra by those who know. Our music director was very coveted at the time both the CSO and the NYPhil were doing music director searches. He turned New York down ... twice. Then accepted our offer.

I'm there fairly often for work. It's all about attitude. They just made you think that. Just give 'em attitude back. Works like a charm and they accept you into the fold. But if an entire group shows them in return that there is attitude all around them? It's an equalizer.

I hate when the visiting teams' fans 'misbehave' like that in a home team stadium. Instead of thoughts of 'taking them,' next time, spread the word, and the minute they pipe up in an obnoxious manner, everyone in the section stand up, en masse, and turn and just stare at them ... blank-faced ... just stare and keep staring.

In many hotels, it isn't even free (except in the lobby). More often in the U.S. it is, not so most everywhere else.

It was looking like that ... and if you are in the thread and just keep hitting refresh, you can't see that it's locked. We (mods and admins) have this little tiny box underneath the 'Quick Reply' box that when checked, it closes the thread after you post your reply. It's really easy to do if you are on a phone or tablet replying in forums and your finger just happens to brush over it ... I've done it half a dozen times, but noticed it pretty quickly.

You will know soon enough. In fact, so soon, I wouldn't be twitching me about it.
