I like oatmeal. But I don't add anything to it. Just a little brown sugar and milk. But I have a friend who puts nuts and raisins and all kind of stuff in it. I just don't do oatmeal that way.
Fruit loops kind of are. Every once in a while I buy a box of crappy cereal … just because … I always regret it, too, but it just looks so tempting in the store … Fruit Loops, Capt Crunch, Lucky Charms … every once in a while.
Brian, if you are truly upset about missing so many Twins game, we can skip Wrigley and you and the cousins can hang out here to watch the Twins game instead of watching the Cubs v Nats. (I'm cheering for the Nats, btw.)
Weather: I'm not far from the Cell, so when I step out onto my balcony it feels warm and sunny with a slight breeze. Mid-upper 70s. It feels good. Lineups: TWINS Dozier 2B Robinson LF Plouffe 1B Hunter RF Suzuki C Escobar 3B Nunez DH Hicks CF Santana SS May P WHITE SOX Eaton CF Cabrera LF Abreu 1B LaRoche DH Gillaspie 3B Ramirez SS Shuck RF Flowers C Sanchez 2B Sale P ------------ On the fly here ... thoughts. 1. Sale. Hmm. He's tough and we've handed him his only loss this year. He's coming off a pitcher's duel game against Cleveland. I'm hoping for a stellar outing for May as he's gonna need it going up against Sale. Unless we can do to him what we did last time. Which leads to the next thought. 2. Bats. We need to connect and knock Sale out of there. Hope is a good thing and no good thing ever dies. So here's hoping ... 3. Chicago ... the fan might be called 'white trash' from some outsiders, but they are actually good fans and know their baseball and are loyal to their team. I talked to some fans sitting near me when I was at the last game and asked 'Who would you rather beat ... the Cubs or the Twins?' It was a test. When they said 'Twins' they got my seal of approval. 4. And that's all I've got in the two minutes it's taken to post this. 5. Play ball!
