    Absolute joke. Smeltzer with 3 hits and 0 walks but because he got near the magic number, the computer says to yank him.

    The FO gets plenty of heat too. I won’t blame rocco for putting together a terrible bullpen, just like I wouldn’t blame the FO for not having someone come in to the game in that 9th inning. Both can shoulder the blame

    I’d take either over a gassed Pagan. I didn’t have a problem bringing him back out in light of the reason you mentioned, but it’s wild that neither (or anyone else) was ready.

    Clamoring, no, but that 9th was predictable and I simply cannot believe someone else wasn’t ready to come into the game before it got that far

    Someone has to explain how there wasn’t a reliever up and ready to come in to the game for that 9th inning before pagan was able to face 3 guys. It’s inexcusable. Really, with the tendency to have a quick hook on guys, I’m beyond befuddled that Rocco went into that 9th inning without having somebody ready.

    I honestly feel bad for pagan. Could have been a great turnaround night but his manager was asleep at the wheel and it turned into another very negative outing

    They have a closer, they just have to overuse him because everyone else is so terrible

    He’s one of them. Terrible managing to not have someone Up and READY in that last inning, when you’re asking a third inning in two nights from the same reliever.

    The best thing that could happen is for Cleveland to stay hot and run the division, this isn’t the year for us yet. You can’t need 4-5 relievers and 2 starters in late June and expect it to work
