    That should have been strike 3 for boyer. And a horrendous throw from LF to boot.

    I'm sorry to say, but there aren't enough David Prices or Carlos Gomezes in the league to make the twins anything more than a mediocre club for 2015. The twins would embarrass themselves in the playoffs, assuming they even made it past the wild card game.

    The fact that there is not one, but two teams in the year 2015 still playing on artificial turf makes me sad.

    I forgot the twins had an early game today. Apparently they did too. These last two months can't go by quickly enough. Hopefully they can finish near .500 but that would require someone, anyone, to be a leader and at least galvanize the team to have an inspired performance here and there. It's been a sleep walk for months now.

    I don't disagree but you have to keep things in perspective. Twins are 8 games below 500 in games that don't take place in May. We're just about into august now. Good teams play well in more than one month.

    4 pitch walk. Might as well swing at the first pitch you see. The fat lady is warming up on the twins season.

    Nope, sorry, this was the right move even though it blew up in our faces. I like Trevor May but he's all of a sudden been anointed as the sure stopper. Perkins may be reeling now but I'll still take his total body of work in a tie game at home.

    How are posters surprised about what just happened? Two 0-2 hits allowed. A walk. Other teams take advantage. Twins don't anymore.

    Hicks has been a lone and surprising bright spot recently.

    For the better part of two months, the twins have been playing uninspired, boring baseball. They don't hit nearly enough and cannot hold leads of many sizes. It is amazing that they still hold a spot for the wild card. One month of good play does not make a playoff team. I wish they'd go ahead and blow their wild card lead. I feel like they're just delaying the inevitable. I do know that these recent weeks have not been very fun to watch, outside of the homestand before the ASG.
