  1. Paul has an account on here. He does the opposite of what we say. You're a Mod. Figure out what the hell his "handle" is and give him a few warning points please! The policing on this site has gotten very lax. Just saying...
  2. Kinda looks like the fire breathing dragon we call Sano.
  3. Apologizing in advance for my Game Thread intro tomorrow. Its gonna get posted EARLY! The last crappie tournament on Tonka starts tomorrow at 6am sharp. Unfortunately the game starts at 1:10pm. I won't get off the lake until 1 or so. I figured tomorrows game would start at 7:10 on a Saturday but I was wrong. I do promise to share my pics and winnings with the entire TD family if I win or place in the top 3. Cheer your favorite Twinssporto on. Gonna bring home the bacon (crappie)! Go Twins!
  4. http://roqnrol.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/1242-300x300.jpg Happy Cinco de Mayo!! Win Twins!
  5. Of July or August? Does it matter?
  6. Thanks for playing today Ladies and Gentlemen! Sorry we couldn't sweep it out the door. Until tomorrow... Go Twins!
  7. Physically they may be able to get better at 30 but mentally is a stretch. That's something that you either have at a young age or not. Maybe we should start another thread about helicopter parenting. Just kidding! Trying to get someone to laugh...I feel bad for Kyle but he just doesn't seem to have it. Could be mental, physical, whatever. It's just like sales. Perform or move on. Sorry. Could be another movie: In stead of Glenngarry Glenn Ross: 1st place: Starting at MLB level making $10mm year 2nd place: AAA 3rd place: Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
  8. I wonder if Kyle is related to Debbie Gibson (the 1980's pop singer)?
  9. With Gibson wetting the bed I thought they would have brought up Berrios versus Tepesch. Maybe they both come up and Gibby is gone?
  10. http://goodlucksymbols.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Broom-superstitions.jpg I think this will be a fun game to watch. Interesting to see how Kyle decides to step up.
  11. Good morning and welcome back to another fun filled Twins Daily Game Thread! I don't know if its because the Twins are winning baseball games or if its the beautiful spring day here in Minneapolis but I have a little bounce in my step today. This ball club is starting to look like the real deal. Yes, we all know the starting rotation has some issues along with the bullpen. However, there are some wonderful things blooming at Target Field. I see a team that's starting "gel"...Sano, Buxton, Vargas, Dozier, Kepler, Polanco, Ervin, et al. There is some deep talent within this club and it's just starting to develop. I'm truly enjoying watching this team play! Let's go back to that bounce in my step. Maybe its the Twins, maybe its the weather, maybe its the music I have playing too loudly in my office. Regardless of the cause it does have me thinking of music playlists. In that spirit I thought it would be prudent to come up with a top 10 music playlist that describes the Twins team at this very moment. Of course, things in life change regularly but this is how it feels to me now: 10. "Winning" - Santana 9. "Ain't No Stopping Us Now" - McFadden & Whitehead (Classic 70's) 8. "Good Feeling" - Flo Rida 7. "Let's Get It On" - Marvin Gaye 6. "Don't Stop Believen" - Journey 5. "Let's Get it Started" - Black Eyed Peas 4. "I Feel Good" - James Brown 3. "Thunderstruck" - AC/DC 2. "Good Times" - Chic 1. "Another One Bites The Dust" - Queen (Because we are gonna sweep the A's today) Go Twins!! Bring out the brooms! Lineups: TWINS: 1. Brian Dozier - 2B ® 2. Jorge Polanco - SS (S) 3. Miguel Sano - DH ® 4. Kennys Vargas - 1B (S) 5. Eduardo Escobar - 3B (S) 6. Eddie Rosario - LF (L) 7. Chris Gimenez - C ® 8. Danny Santana - RF (S) 9. Byron Buxton - CF ® SP Kyle Gibson ® A's: 1. Matt Joyce - RF (L) 2. Jed Lowrie - 2B (S) 3. Khris Davis - LF ® 4. Yonder Alonso - 1B (L) 5. Ryon Healy - 3B ® 6. Stephen Vogt - C (L) 7. Chad Pinder - DH ® 8. Jaff Decker - CF (L) 9. Adam Rosales - SS ® SP Jharel Cotton ® Weather: Beautiful Spring day. 64 degrees and sunny. 0% chance of rain.
  12. I'm probably going to get torn apart for saying this but I like the occasional beaning (NOT HEAD HUNTING THOUGH). Brush backs and occasional retaliation beanings in the back or butt is a part of the game and will most likely never go away. What's more amazing to me is the ongoing fighting in the NHL. Seriously, if there was something to ban its got to be that...
  13. Buck is gonna be just fine. He looks much more composed at the plate. Especially when he's watching balls go by outside the strike zone. Here's the fun part: Imagine when he really starts to get on a hot streak or turns the corner hitting (which it looks like he is doing now)...Between him and Sano. Should be fun to watch. The Twins really do have two HUGE future all-stars. Giddy up.
  14. Did you hear Ervin Santana's birth name was Johan Santana?
  15. Agreed! Thanks for the encouragement. If the Twins can hack out 6 homers in one game I can go back to drinking regular beer. I'm going all in dammit!!
  16. Deer Run, The Wilds, Chaska Town Course. Really anyplace that serves cold beer and doesn't kick me out for wicked slices.
  17. I'm getting fat. Need to drink the diet Coors.
  18. Dozier really wanted three tonight. He swung the bat like I swing the driver playing golf on a short and very straight par 4 with a high wind to my back, no trees or obstacles for miles around and 6 Coors Light in my belly...
  19. Bat throwing is always a good sign. Great hitters do that now and then.
  20. Just got home and turned the game on. Is this for real?
