  1. Jones is quietly having a great season, with 16 strikouts per 9, and holding hitters to a .188 average while allowing just one run.
  2. Buxton has been on a tear lately raising his slash line to .286/.353/.527. This past week he hit a walk-off home run.
  3. This just gave me an idea, why don't we make cars that you have to take a breathalyzer before entering the drivers seat of a vehicle? It might not work, but we could give it a try.
  4. Yeah, and his defense is awful as usual, but I never heard anything about Beresford's defense.
  5. What about Nikorak? Any news on him?
  6. Oh, I forgot to mention that Reynaldo Rodriguez has been the Redwings second best hitter this year.
  7. This was just an idea that I thought that I would put forward. I am not saying that I agree with or promote all of these ideas. I have been thinking that if the Twins want Jonathan Lucroy they will need to trade Major League proven talent, but how do they do that and hang on to prospects when they don’t have much to offer? Today I will look at a way that they could do that. First, the Twins need to trade to the Brewers weaknesses, and one of the Brewers main needs is a third baseman since Aramis Ramirez is retiring after the season is over. The Twins have Trevor Plouffe, who alone could be half the package that the Brewers are looking for, and they also have Miguel Sano, but I believe that Plouffe would be more what the Brewers would be looking for, and he has been on their radar for awhile; according to rumors, but they don’t have much in their farm system to offer, so the Twins and Brewers could make a trade involving Plouffe and Lucroy, but there would need to be more pieces. If the Brewers decide to make Lucroy available they will likely have decided to rebuild, so they will ask for some young players too, and areas they are thing in for young players are the outfield and pitching, and they will also want some catching in return. As I said earlier they will likely want players that are close to the big leagues, and the Twins can trade to those weaknesses. So here is my proposal. The Twins will send Trevor Plouffe, Kurt Suzuki (short term replacement), Josmil Pinto (long term replacement), Aaron Hicks (still only 25 years old), and Trevor May to the Milwaukee Brewers for Jonathan Lucroy, and here is where it gets interesting, we would also get Ryan Braun and take his massive contract of their hands. The Twins could then call up Miguel Sano, Byron Buxton, Jose Berrios, and Alex Meyer while cutting Ricky Nolasco. Ryan Braun would immediately take over in left, and Torii Hunter and Oswaldo Arcia would platoon in right until the season is over and Hunter retires. This would be a win now and win in the future move for the Twins and this would also be a good rebuild move for the Brewers since they receive some young players that are ready, and they could unload their main contract, but both teams would have to have a lot of guts to make this trade.
  8. The main reason that they did this was is because of the rewarding that teams are into, but how about rewarding Beresford for sticking around for so long? He should get a shot at the big leagues, and he is hitting .359, even Jose Martinez has preformed better than Bernier, but I guess I can just hope that Doug will be a fine 25th man.
  9. He will probably have some fine seasons with Toronto.
  10. Trevor May has thrown a lot of pitches.
  11. Speaking of ChiTown, has anybody seen what she did to my profile?
  12. Offensive Substitution: Pinch-hitter Argenis Diaz replaces Doug Bernier. Argenis Diaz grounds out, third baseman Deibinson Romero to first baseman Brent Morel. Reynaldo Rodriguez walks. Josmil Pinto doubles (2) on a fly ball to right fielder Jose Tabata. Reynaldo Rodriguez to 3rd. Danny Ortiz strikes out swinging. Brock Peterson reaches on a throwing error by third baseman Deibinson Romero. Reynaldo Rodriguez scores. Josmil Pinto scores. Jose Martinez flies out to left fielder Steve Lombardozzi.
  13. Read this, don't cheat, and then tell me how many runs the Wings scored in the first: Rochester Top of the 1st Aaron Hicks hits a ground-rule double (6) on a fly ball to left field. Doug Bernier singles on a bunt ground ball to third baseman Deibinson Romero. Aaron Hicks to 3rd. Reynaldo Rodriguez doubles (7) on a line drive to left fielder Steve Lombardozzi. Aaron Hicks scores. Doug Bernier to 3rd. Josmil Pinto hit by pitch. Danny Ortiz out on a sacrifice fly to right fielder Jose Tabata. Doug Bernier scores. Reynaldo Rodriguez to 3rd. Josmil Pinto advances to 2nd, on a throwing error by second baseman Alen Hanson. Brock Peterson walks. Jose Martinez singles on a ground ball to left fielder Steve Lombardozzi. Reynaldo Rodriguez scores. Josmil Pinto to 3rd. Brock Peterson to 2nd. James Beresford doubles (3) on a ground ball to right fielder Jose Tabata. Josmil Pinto scores. Brock Peterson scores. Jose Martinez to 3rd. Pitching Change: Charlie Leesman replaces Wilfredo Boscan. Eric Farris walks. Aaron Hicks called out on strikes. Doug Bernier walks. Jose Martinez scores. James Beresford to 3rd. Eric Farris to 2nd. Reynaldo Rodriguez reaches on a fielding error by third baseman Deibinson Romero. James Beresford scores. Eric Farris scores. Doug Bernier to 2nd. Josmil Pinto singles on a line drive to center fielder Gorkys Hernandez. Doug Bernier scores. Reynaldo Rodriguez to 2nd. Danny Ortiz singles on a pop up to first baseman Brent Morel. Reynaldo Rodriguez scores. Josmil Pinto to 2nd. Brock Peterson grounds into a force out, third baseman Deibinson Romero to second baseman Alen Hanson. Danny Ortiz out at 2nd.
  14. What language was that first line in? As for Ash being taken with you, that won't happen, he will be allowed to remain because he always persevered. Another thing is that I wouldn't say that a caning would be fun, but I did notice that four strokes were given to a visitor, I hope you were trying to be a prophetess with that one Great job, Bubbles! Your friend, Crocodile Dundee
  15. French Bulldog? I hear those are a good luck charm for pitchers. That is why I want one.
  16. Why would the Brewers want three catchers? And if they do my guess is that Pinto would be one of them. I like Lucroy, and have viewed him as a trade target since 2012, but with him being on the DL we can't trade for him, and apparently they are not willing to trade him: http://hardballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/05/05/the-brewers-may-deal-but-they-arent-going-to-deal-jonathan-lucroy/ Also, I don't think that he would be amused at the trade, he HATES Target Field, and that kind of attitude would not be good, but that might have been just a bunch of hot air.
  17. With Hunter, Schafer, and Robinson getting hot the Twins will have some hard decisions to make if he hits the ground running like Santana and Vargas did.
  18. They could have Dan Gladden night and give away Webster Dictionaries to the first 10,000.
  19. I think it would be nice if we had two.
  20. Dan Gladden is most likely celebrating, he hates the idea.
