  1. The Twins have no excuses for starting Castro in a playoff game. They could have traded for anyone.
  2. Yep, ran it exactly like how you're taught. Half step, freeze, go.
  3. Same story all season. This offense has been painful to watch all year. We're lucky we've gotten this far!
  4. umpires have gotten worse as the night goes along, yikes
  5. Very difficult for an umpire to not get fooled by this. That's why most the good catchers set their target, put the glove down by the ground, and then bring it up to receive the ball. Jeffers holds the target the entire time, so misses a lot of calls like that one, I've noticed.
  6. Am I the only one who has been scratching their head at Jeffers's defense all season?
  7. Two thoughts: Umpire's zones favor Jays, and Polanco looks brutal at third.
  8. More like because that data is public, track-able, and it was a true statement
  9. The Yankees have been getting away with doctoring the ball since last year. Dylan Cease of the White Sox too.
  10. Going into the ninth with a one run lead? I hear defibrillators values are sky rocketing.
  11. Good pitching to Rizzo right there, with a little help from Libka
  12. He threw a fastball right down the middle to Cordero that was taken. I suspect unless he gets command of it things will be real ugly second time through
  13. All of Varland's fastballs have been middle-middle. He's gonna get clobbered.
  14. I thought Michael A. Taylor couldn't hit?
  15. Yikes, probably broke his jaw
  16. There seems to have been quite the organizational shift in how long you should let a starter pitch. I wonder how much of that was influenced by the revolt led by Sonny Gray?
  17. Sonny is putting on a pitching clinic! Filthy stuff
