    Speaking of Peanuts baseball, here's a question. We all know that Charlie Brown and Schroeder are the battery, and Linus and Snoopy are the middle infield, and of course, Lucy is out in right field. But about 1B, 3B, LF, and RF?? Here's what I say: Shermy appears to be steady and solid so I say he's on 1B. Pig Pen loves to be dirty so he's gotta be at 3B. Violet seems to be quiet, but firm, so LF is a good fit. That leaves Franklin to be in CF, and Frieda, the one with the naturally curly hair sitting on the bench so she doesn't muss up her naturally curly hair, along with Marcie because she can't see very well. Woodstock is the 3B coach.

    For what it's worth, because of injuries and that the fact he is mashing everything he sees, the Washington Nationals just called up their 18-1/2-year-old whiz kid outfielder, Juan Soto. He started out this year in low A ball.

    Meanwhile, in Rochester, Sano was 0-2 with 2 BBs and a K. And Vargas went 0-4 and is back under .200.

    Yikes!! How's this for an upset? Canada lost to Switzerland in the World Hockey Championship semi-finals 3:2, and Switzerland will play Sweden for the Gold. So now it will be Canada vs USA for the bronze.

    With LaMarre all you get are singles. They're probably thinking with Cave there might be an occasional double or home run, plus for the month of May he's batting way over .300.
