    Most people are forgetting that even when Dozier was having a good year we couldn't move him. We are not going to get much for him.

    It was a great turnaround season. Molitor will be gone which is a good thing. Most of us knew we didn't have a chance against the Yankees but who cares. We have a good core team and just need to add some pitching to compete for the division.

    This is a reason why Molitor should not have his contract renewed after this year and probably won't. Gee should of never came out of the game and he has no clue on how to utilize a bullpen.

    We play the Yankees in the WC. We dont have to worry about a rotation.

    I have been a huge Debbie downer when it has come to Buxton, but he has surged and with that the Twins have really come around. Who would of thought the Twins would be right in the thick of things in mid August.

    I was all for trading Kintzler but we hardly got anything for him. Are the Twins planning to dump payroll and spend nothing yet again because that is the way it looks from my porch.

    This is a major shift in previous years when we simply laid down before the deadline. Good to see management making moves to restock our depleted farm system.

    Baseball is decided in July and August. The Twins never had a team that was going to be able to grind through these months due to their pitching. We had our fun and now it is time to be a realist again. Trade Santana, Dozier, and Garcia. If you can unload some others than do that too. It is time to wake up from this fantasy world were we put together just enough to hang in there until July baseball. We need to boost our farm system and hopefully in 2019 we have a team that can actually compete against teams with winning records.

    Terrible move and it makes me cringe thinking that even with the change of management it virtually is the same.

    Colon will easily give up 7 runs against the Yankees. Dude is toast and the Twins should be ashamed of themselves for this kind of move.

    They are not in the postseason mix because we have to many holes to fill. Trade Dozier, Santana, and Buxton and bring in some much needed pitching. Our farm system is so depleted that we need to be aggressive on obtaining prospects.

    Just one more decent starter and you are playing .650 ball. You need to just roll the dice. It worked with Shannon Stewart. Hell give it a shot.

    If the guy hasnt figured out how to swing a bat by now he is not going to figure it out down the line. I know the man crush on Buxton is in full swing, but he cant hit and I would rather have a guy who is a slight threat at the plate with average defense than a guy at the plate who is an automatic strikeout.

    One of the main reasons I was not optimistic about this team is their inability to play any team that was decent. The other shoe has finally dropped and by the end of this week they will have fallen to 4th place.

    This team will not be in first place again this year unless we pick up some pitchers. By next Saturday we could very well be 6 games back.

    Given the current games coming up this was the last time you will see the Twins in first place. Maybe the management along with the fans will realize you cant build a team around medicore pitching.

    Are you kidding me? Why so many puff pieces on this guy? He cant bat. Havent we squeezed enough out of this turnip? Trade him.

    It is not just about pitching on why this team is very lucky to be where they are. Our batting ranks 15th in average and we have no one who is batting above .300. With an overall team ERA that ranks 23rd in the league this team is just not that good and like some have mention they have been lucky. You will see a steep drop off regardless if you keep Santana or Dozier. Which is why you trade them now in the hopes of getting some decent prospects.

    Blown saves happen. Not the end of the world, but what usually does not happen is when you are almost midway through June and you are still letting a guy who is hitting .198 continue to stay in the game. The experiment is over and it is hurting the team. Trade Buxton.

    Didnt think they had it in them. Good win tonight. My only question is why did they pull Mejia(butchered I know) so quickly? His pitch count wasnt bad.
