    and we got our daily 'walks are bad to allow' speech. still believing it's all about the pitchers doing something wrong as opposed to, quite often, the batters doing something right. And they aren't any worse than allowing a single. Often, less damaging.

    Butler is hilarious to watch when he's running the bases. Before he even got to 1B, he looked like a piano was put on his back.

    Buxton has to not strike out and actually get on base for that strategy to work.:-)

    well assuming the catcher is calling the right pitches, yeah. It helps pitchers get strikes called when they can do it consistently.

    Pet peeve:annoys me when announcers talk about pitchers pitching against opposing pitchers. Dean didn't pitch against King Felix. Felix pitched against our lineup and Dean pitched against the Mariners lineup.

    It's nice Park can hit a HR once in awhile, because he does little else well.
