    I remember thinking Buxton played against weak competition in high school and I was burnt out on us drafting toolsy high school CFs.

    Up until this season, seemed most had a considerably higher level of expectations Buxton would need to meet without being considered a disappointment. As seems to be the case across the board with this team, we keep lowering our expectations. A Maybin type career, for me, would be a bust. The thing about suggesting a ceiling for a player is that players rarely reach that ceiling. it happens, but rarely.

    Every FO makes bad calls here and there. None of them get it right 100% of the time. Is letting Ortiz go for nothing better or worse than the Oakland FO trading Donaldson? P.S., I picked Donaldson to be AL MVP prior to the 2015 season starting :-)

    hangovers have a lot to do with draining of potassium that occurs when drinking. bananas, great and quick source of potassium.

    Whiskey. I remember taking, believe it or not (and in keeping of the origin of this thread), 13 shots of whiskey on Friday the 13th, last day of my junior year in high school. I had never had any alcohol other than communal wine before that day. It was over 90 degrees that day and I umpired two girls softball games that day with the first one starting 4 hours after my last shot. That was over 30 years ago. I still can't even deal with the smell of whiskey, much less drink it.

    Tequila stock dropped 50% when cameras got put on phones. :-)
