  1. I like your restraint. It's like you took a pitch off the corner that looked pretty good.
  2. au contrair. everything I type is thetical. Very thetical.
  3. I came late to the party and just repeated what somebody else just said. Shame.
  4. But you still obviously love ellipses. I personally enjoy a semi-colon after lunch.
  5. http://www.propacusa.com/media/catalog/product/cache/13/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/c/2/c2003-1.jpg
  6. I also think Sano should be playing third. He showed fine skills the one game he played there. No reason to not play the youngster in the field, damn it.
  7. If $ wasn't an object, and everything was equal, it sure would be nice to see Tulowitzki in a Twins uniform.
  8. I agree. Even if it blows up in Molitor's face now and then, it shows confidence in your starting pitcher to leave him in rather than kneejerk go to the bullpen. It's new old way of managing. Love it.
  9. The new grass looks awful. Blame Dozier's "problems" on Kenny Chesney!
  10. I wonder if we'll see fewer trades now that the additional Wild Card team has been added. The difference between being in the hunt and being out of the hunt for a playoff spot has shrunk. Also, a team's chances of correcting the ship the following year, in general, is greater because of parity among teams (and the additional Wild Card). I think teams will stand pat more than ever. Unless, of course, decisive deals (clearly good for both teams) comes along.
  11. I'm from Murdock! I was a Senior when Mike Kingery was a Junior, and he struck me out at least once. Very impressive player. I was glad he had a successful Major League career. I lived in San Francisco when he played there and was quite proud to say that I was from a tiny MN town and had played against him. Way to go, USAFCHIEF!
  12. The Pirates just called up Pedro Florimon from AAA At least we're not the Pirates In this respect
  13. Passionate TD fans! 3 straight losses and some of you are calling them soft, and others for heads. I will continue to watch. That's what fans do. They don't play, they watch. Hopefully Sano will be back tonight, and Buxton in a couple of weeks. Reasons to watch a young team grow. Maybe they get into that idiotic Wild Card One Game Estupidoganza, so that could be fun, even if they're not much better overall than average.
  14. The Twins look like a little league team and they're only down by 3 at this point
  15. I like how the Angels TV broadcast (and the A's) don't use FoxTrax or Fox Tracker or whatever you want to call that strike calling computer thingy ... Not even on close calls that are replayed. I like that. I take it back. They just showed FoxTracks thing on Escobar's strike out. What do I know? They don't use it "often"?
