Dozier batting second, and he's had a few good games. And yes the team has won 3 straight. It must be Gardy's fault now that the team is playing good...
They need to make a decision on Parmelee soon. I know the original plan was to have him take over at first base. With his current numbers there is no way they can trade Morneau and replace him with Parmelee. So now it seems that we really need to resign Morneau since there is no other good option available at 1B.
Twins made the right move in trading Gomez. We had more then enough CF and getting Hardy was a good move. Getting RID of Hardy is a completely different story though... With Gomez though even if he wasn't traded to the Brewers, he still wouldn't be with the Twins. His attitude is not a fit with us. As for four years from now, who will be better...Hicks or Gomez? My money is on Hicks.
From what I've seen, if it's a weekday and the game is not busy, #9 will not be open. Same goes for #8, but not as much. I really enjoy hanging out at #2 when it's not packed. Great view of the game and it's sheltered if needed.
Detroit is a good team and the bullpen had an off night. It happens. And before anyone says the bullpen is terrible, Burton has been great all year. Nobody's perfect.
With Arcia stepping up we need to get Parmelee out of the outfield. That is easier said then done though. Parmelee has been our best outfielder all season. He's even made some great plays. And do we really want him at first right now? I'm sure he can play the position but his offensive numbers are not where he should be. It's a tough call.
I love how everyone is SO QUICK to play the blame game. "We lost a close game after a bad inning, who can I blame?" Seriously close losses happen. Did any of us think we'd be at .500 right now? I don't think so. And where was all the Fire Gardy talk after we just split with the Rangers...strange I don't see it.
Really depends on what you want. With Comcast not all the games are in HD. If you have a good internet connection MLB.TV quaility is good but you have to pay more the get the feed you want (home or away)
Yes there is we had a meeting. There was punch and pie. On topic I hope we can stay above .500 today! Maybe another good outing for a starter? We're back to Worley correct?
Tonight the Twins are playing the Yankees on FSN+ at 6:05. And La Velle posted online that Miguel Sano will be batting fifth and playing third base! I was planning on watching the game anyways, but make sure to tune in to see Sano play tonight. This will be my first time getting to see him. You guys have all missed the obvious answer...Nick Punto! Seriously I'd have to go with Harmon. He's done so much for the organization besides just play baseball.
Greg Jennings will be in town today for a visit. Normally when this happens the player is signed. Let's hope Jennings doesn't leave town without a contract.
The Twins have never been an organization that rushes up its prospects. I think 2014 would be alittle too soon for all of them. Sano 2015 at the earliest.
No Wallace, but no way the Vikings would pay him what Miami did. Let's hope we can at least get Jennings. I've heard it's between us and GB so we'll see...
