    While I agree that we need to upgrade our catcher, I don't think it's necessary to bring in from without the organization ... yet. I'm loving Eric Fryer's performance in Rochester. Why don't we call him up? He may not be the catcher of the future, but he could be the answer to 2015's problems behind the plate.

    Yes, thank you for getting me back on topic ... and sorry. You are right. Um ... Sano. I'd have to say that I'm with the people who want to wait a bit longer. I'm beginning to develop a mild case of PTSD when it comes to calling up prospects. But I won't go into detail - the reason I said nothing before is because this is a great discussion and I'd just be repeating others.

    Westphal pitched an inning in relief for the Kernels on the 26th. He allowed a leadoff triple which eventually went on to score a run and struck out the second batter he faced. Needless to say, his ERA at Low A is 9.00. Let's hope he gets that worked down and can maybe stretch out to his dream role as a starter now that he's playing at a lower level. Westphal is no longer wearing #33 (that belongs to Trey Vavra), and his jersey has been switched to 18. He looks sad in his new team photo.
