  1. Is this a reference to my previous post?
  2. Zuke!!! You're my fave for a reason!!
  3. Are there any poets on here? We could use a set of poems like this, only for the Twins lineup. http://www.baseball-almanac.com/poetry/po_line.shtml
  4. At least you gotta love the way Joe West clapped his hands for Kurt Suzuki.
  5. I think I'm going to cut my hair like Aaron Thompson to show solidarity with the bullpen.
  6. A sick Royals fan in Missouri's mom gets up from the computer with Safari open and private browsing turned off. The kid isn't supposed to be going on the computer, but they run over and instead of opening a new tab and creating history on mlb.com, they open the ESPN widget and first thing they see is Kansas City losing 5-3 and they click on it and see "Bases loaded, 0 outs" and cry.
  7. Thanks for warning me that the rest of the games are night games. In fact I thought that the Twins had lost 6 games, but maybe they changed Monday's score?... Let me know. I can't find anything about it online.
  8. The Royals are going to hit him next time since he came out of the box with true swag. Arcia will remember what Morales taught him last year and keep his cool, but the Royals will charge him for not reacting in style.
  9. Mike Eastabrook told Suzuki that he wanted to see a heads-up play and an on-target throw if Alex Gordon attempted to steal 2nd base.
  10. We'd be killed. We've been killed enough lately. Time to go in for the kill ourselves this time.
  11. They threatened Torii Hunter by throwing inside. They were too scared to hit him, though. Things might not look so good for KC if that happened. I think Molly would yell to Torii to not charge the mound, so Volquez would charge 1st to keep the Royal trend going, and he'd get what he deserved.
  12. Luke Westphal made his first Minor League start today, pitching 3.1 innings and striking out five. Unfortunately, he also gave up five hits and three runs (one unearned) and picked up his first loss, but on the plus side he didn’t walk any batters. Assuming that he’s been working on his control, today he won in that area at least. I expect that they will work with him from there, so I’m looking forward to his next outing.
  13. On a lighter note, Fort Myers is winning 5-0 in the top of the 2nd, and they're not done yet.
  14. We might as well have kept Gardy. I mean, he couldn't have been much worse than Molly - and if he was, the difference would be insignificant. Why bring in Molly but give him a bad team? I think it's pretty cruel. You've got to sorta sympathize with the man. Anyway, I kinda miss Gardy. At least he had 1068 wins instead of 1. Well, at least 1 is an easier number to remember.
  15. Well, I for one expect Joe Mauer to have a much higher average, and considering the stats, Dozier is set up to hit more than 10 homers.
  16. Well, duh. Everybody feels bad for themselves.
  17. Can't even spell his name right. Sorry, but I just had to point that out. So were you one of the fans who wasn't afraid to let him hear it? What did you say? "Is this what you call 'all run out of bullets'?"
  18. I've often noticed that that's the color of the snow in Wisconsin.
  19. Maybe instead of "Providing independent coverage of the Minnesota Twins," TD should say "Providing live internet streaming on Minnesota Twins games with a wide variety in delivery methods."
  20. Interesting statistics: Kansas City Royals are currently 6-0, which means that they are on track to win all the games they play this year. Minnesota Twins have currently won all they games they scored first in, which means that they are on track to win all the games they score first in this year. Prepare yourself for the longest game in the history of Major League Baseball.
