    I should clarify--I removed the highest and the lowest totals to get to the new average. As far as I'm aware, this is a fairly widespread practice used to remove outliers which skew data. 20-30 games from now, there will be no need to do that, as the sample size will be large enough to offset outliers on its own.

    This is heavily skewed by the 15 run game and 10 run game. A better metric would be the median, based on the runs scored below; 15,10,8,6,5,4,3,3,2,2 the median would be 4/5, rather than the 5.8 average. If you remove the two extremes it falls to 5.1 runs per game. Still not bad, but the SSS makes average runs a misleading stat right now.

    Well, based on what was just shown on BSN, I think it's now very clear whether or not the Twins are taking a political stance on the events of Sunday.

    I think Rocco is much more likely to be the reverse Bill O'Brien. O'Brien was a really good coach, who was terrible at building a team. The current Twins are pretty good at team building, but just terrible in game situations.

    You missed a lot. As previously stated, every time a hitter fouls a pitch off with zero or one strikes, it is a swinging strike. You erred by only counting swings and misses.
