  1. Now it's time for Molitor's IQ test. Starter starts getting shelled in the 5th inning... What. Do. You. Do?
  2. Shows what kind of athlete Joe Mauer is - he's been dropping balls, then making good plays anyway.
  3. Did they tell Duffey to pretend he's coming in for long relief? Good psychology...
  4. I was wondering if anybody else noticed that the Twins feed had switched to a different game entirely - after a really close up perspective of a foul pole, looking upwards, for five minutes....
  5. I'd just as soon see Garver get a shot as Murphy. But then they'd have to make a spot on the 40 man roster...
  6. Dang, and he so humble...Max everything.
  7. I do not see Milone's value as a bullpen guy. His game is finesse, not anything overwhelming. Maybe as a change of pace guy, or a long reliever?
  8. Ha! i guessed 108.5mph. Missed again. ;-(
  9. Dang, just the number of hissing line drives is awesome today.
  10. Mauer's been watching Kepler's swing. Boom.
  11. I'm guessing Kepler will just try to stroke a single this time up. He's not a hot dog.
  12. I was going to say, D-San now appears to be in his 2.0 version, too. He no longer looks super anxious, like he's waiting to be cut or sent down any minute. He's also developed some torque with his body. He turns his belt buckle to lead the swing, so he's added much better pop when he connects. Fun to watch him rip liners to the outfield.
  13. Wow, what a play by Dozier to end the inning. It's nice to see how good professional athletes can be.
  14. Best part of Kepler's big night could be that Berrios can now fly under the radar, totally relaxed.
  15. Disagree with Roy on the golf club. Your 3 iron is supposed to go higher than that.
  16. Okay, based on my previous two guesses, I'm calling that Kepler blast 108.5mph. Gradually calibrating my speedo....
  17. Berrios is starting to believe... maybe he is The One... ;-)
  18. Maybe if the Twins can get Target Field zoned as a church, they can stop paying property taxes! Then they can lower ticket prices!!
  19. Once Berrios really relaxes, his stuff is going to make some hitters look silly.
  20. And the AC unit is under Hrbek's shirt! ;-)
  21. Twins are dogging these guys! Fanabulous!
  22. Vargas 2.0 takes a walk. Me likeee.
  23. Good lord, Kepler really does drill those low inside fastballs. Ball must be leaving his bat at 108mph. Line drive homers. Like a 2 iron.
  24. I gradually changed my mind about Meyer's potential over the past couple years. Used to think he might be a front-line starter. Now it's looking more and more like he's got too many physical problems and possibly some emotional hangups keeping him from making it. Nolasco's deal works well for both parties. He's finally healthy and pitching pretty well, so I expect the usual thing to happen - pitcher leaves Minnesota and suddenly throws like an all-star. On the other hand, Twins get a new lefty starter with fairly good numbers. Twins sure like lefty starters for some reason...
