  1. The Cleveland announcers are chortling a bit too much for me. I'm outta here.
  2. When was the last time Suzuki threw out a runner? Even with a pitch out, he had no chance. Weakest arm of any starting catcher?
  3. Zuki felt bad after the first foul onto his foot. Now a foul into his face mask. Dang, I'm glad I'm not a catcher.
  4. It's not exactly that Mauer lacks hustle, but that Kepler is operating at a higher level of hustle, like Bryce Harper. Older players like Mauer learn to conserve their energy. Young stars like Kepler are looking for reasons to pour on the energy. Those two different approaches just clashed at second base.
  5. One of the Cleveland announcers attempted to mitigate Mauer's blunder by saying Kepler should have been looking ahead, but Kepler was too busy being aggressive. You're not expected to worry about some clueless old man cluttering up the base path.
  6. 4.1 innings for Clevinger. Another short start for Cleveland. Their bullpen must be starting to wear out, like the Twins bullpen in April.
  7. I've never seen Joe Mauer play so nonchalant. This is the kind of half-assed **** that gets a player benched.
  8. Could be Joe was fooled by expectations. Last few times Kepler's been up with men on, he's mashed it over the fence. Also, it was a good play by the outfielder, who gathered the ball in like he was going to heave it home, then pivoted and zinged it to first base.
  9. Dang, Joe Mauer makes mistakes that dumb once in a blue moon. Is there a double blue moon?
  10. Okay, now Dozier's trade value is officially at its peak. ;-)
  11. Oh. My. God. Kent Hrbek!!!!!!!!
  12. I'm thinking Scarface, just as Tony Montana lifts his face out of the cocaine. He knows he's dead, but he's going to bring as many of the bastards with him to hell.
  13. Man, Trevor May totally got screwed on that strike three fastball. Perfect pitch, rang that outside bell like BONNNNGGGGG. Ump didn't notice.
  14. Twins have been spanking Cleveland's balls this whole series.
  15. Hahahahahaha! That was a funny base running blunderfest!
  16. Anybody notice that Rosario looks a little like Al Pacino?
  17. We must also consider the sage advice of the great Steve Martin. When you want to BE funny, first you must FEEL funny. Start by filling your shoes with mashed potatoes, then work from there.
  18. Can we now consider the voodoo jinxes invalidated?
  19. Sandwiches. Everybody likes sandwiches. And if you make and eat an eggshell and celery sandwich, I'll pay you a dollar. The secret is the 50/50 mix of pepper corns and fennel seeds in the raspberry vinaigrette.
  20. I will gladly mock your voodoo - - Ghaaak! [Chokes on celery and eggshell sandwich]
  21. All I know is, no more eggshells and celery. Doesn't make a very good sandwich, either.
  22. The one thing Duffey has that Gibson does not have is a wipe-out curve ball. When nothing else works, Duffey can still bend time and space enough to get some whiffs.
  23. I DO NOT like Duffey's 4-seamer. No movement at all. He should reserve it for chin music and pitch-outs.
  24. Beautiful throw by Centeno. Just nipped the runner.
