  1. I'll go over because the Mariners seem to always perform the exact opposite of what I think.
  2. I'd like to pick over because almost everyone else is picking under, but I just can't. UNDER
  3. Under and Hicks is the offensive MVP
  4. I'll say that their rotation does very well and gets them to the over.
  5. Does Trevor May getting 2 innings in his first outing mean they might actually give him a shot at the rotation?
  6. Matt Stairs had 19 He actually played for 13 different teams just like Dotel, but I guess doesn't qualify to be tied because he started his career with the Expos and ended with the Nationals which are considered the same organization?
  7. Which led me to: Octavio Dotel I kind of remember hearing about him breaking Morgan's record a couple years ago, but he only had 15 team/# combos, which sends me out on a new search to try and figure out if anyone had more than Mike Morgan's 17.
  8. The guy Devereaux was traded for: Mike Morgan Who I completely forgot played part of a season for the Twins until looking at his baseball reference page. I was amazed at the number of team/uniform # combinations he had (17) and couldn't remember if he held the record for playing for the most teams.
  9. Looking up one of my favorites sent me off on a tangent, so my post will be a trilogy. I didn't go through all the posts either so hopefully they aren't duplicates. One of my favorite players and a really nice guy that I used to go watch when I was a teenager at Albuquerque Dukes games: Mike Devereaux Played a little for the Dodgers then was traded to the Orioles where he had some pretty good seasons and then bounced around a bit before calling it quits.
  10. I would suggest you do the anti-wave that me and my buddies do. While the wave is going around you stand up cheering with arms in the air until it gets to you, then sit down while it passes and then stand back up and cheer. You are cancelling out a person across the stadium and helping it come to a quicker death, at least that's what we tell ourselves. But from your arguments it seems like you don't like people standing, so this may not be for you either. I would prefer to stand and cheer the majority of the time at live sporting events. If I wanted to sit in relative silence and watch games while sitting I can do that on my couch in front of the tv.
  11. Just looking at the Rangers schedule I would put a low guess on their wins for the remainder of the season at 22, so I'll say at least 86 wins just to force a Game 163 First look at the Twins schedule: They take 9 of 13 from CWS and CLE Split the 12 with DET and KC Split 6 with HOU Take 2 of 3 from TB Split 4 with LAA That only gives them 83 wins, so hopefully they can take 3 of 4 from LAA and 4 of 6 from HOU and steal another one somewhere else. Maybe they get lucky and avoid Kluber in all the remaining CLE games and take 10 of 13 from CWS and CLE.
  12. I sure hope he gets to stick around more than one game. He provided most of the excitement in the series at Arlington that I went to last summer and I'd like to be able to see more of that this weekend.
  13. I think I probably had the advantage of listening with my headphones since I'm at work which made hearing the thump easier.
  14. You can hear when it hits the wall and see its trajectory change, it does not hit the dirt first. Someone must have access to the new advanced ball tracking technology that could verify this.
  15. That ball was 2 or 3 feet from being a "home run"
  16. I'm sorry, but I don't agree with your so-called fact. After watching the video, you can hear the ball hit high off the wall and then the ground. Nobody catches that.
  17. But this is just when the 10th batter gets up to the plate. What if an out is made on the bases while the tenth batter is at the plate, would the announcers be required to retract their "batting around" statement? For this I vote 9 official plate appearances is batting around.
  18. I say we petition Fox Sporths North to switch to televising the Red Wings or Lookouts games instead, it sounds like it would be more enjoyable.
  19. Duensing for Brad Wieck, give us a big tall lefty to pair with Alex Meyer in our rotation of the future.
