    Well, that half inning sure tempered my optimism for this game. Still some there, but it's greatly diminished now.

    Well, that lead didn't last long, which didn't surprise me at all. Especially since we seldom seem to do things the easy way. AARGH.

    I agree that was a bit strong of a response, in hindsight. I certainly don't disagree with what you're saying. I just feel that we need to be less passive in these situations than we've shown in the recent past.

    I'd say more along the line of drilled, not plunked. This garbage will keep happening until we show that we're not going to put up with it any longer.

    Appears as though that start, if he makes it, will be at home against Detroit.

    Even though his stat line won't be pretty, it would still be nice to see him get a win in his major league debut.
