  1. Well, we tried to give this game away and we almost succeeded.
  2. I don't the outcome of where this appears to be heading.
  3. Of course he does. You just don't understand.
  4. I think that counts as an offensive explosion!
  5. Sounds like you're calling one run an offensive explosion, as would I.
  6. Up, because he's probably the best option we now have for this situation.
  7. Saying they are top hitters in the organization isn't saying a lot. And speed doesn't matter much when you're as strikeout prone as Buxton is. I'll grade that as a "C".
  8. Any takers out there on this? Hitting-wise.
  9. Buxton and Correa, what a combo! One can't stop striking out and the other can't stop grounding out. How did we get so fortunate as to have them as 2 of our most highly paid players?
  10. Except that a gidp isn't going to cut it.
  11. Keaschall is really a breath of fresh air for this otherwise stale lineup. I hope he can keep it up for awhile.
  12. About par for the course. Unfortunately.
  13. To me, it shows that the Sox at least have a grasp on executing baseball fundamentals. Whereas, we usually don't.
  14. Playing from behind again. Who would of ever guessed?
  15. With Larnach hitting cleanup. YIKES!
  16. You're right. I should have made that point a bit clearer.
  17. I certainly have nothing bad to say about Luke Keaschall, however, it doesn't say very much about the rest of the roster.
  18. That shows me just how desperate they are in getting more people in the stadium. Putting a better product on the field would likely work better, however, the ownership group doesn't seem to be all that interested in that course of action.
  19. I couldn't agree with you more, especially your closing statement. And I've been a fan of this team for 55+ years. This is the first season I can recall where the team has basically become unwatchable virtually every game, with the entire organization regularly giving off a "We don't care" vibe to its ever dwindling fan base. And fans are perceptive enough to notice that and are responding accordingly. Losing itself isn't the real problem, IMO, it's the not giving your fans a reason to care about your product that is the real deal breaker. If both of my grandfathers, who I learned to love the game from, could see this, they'd be rolling over in their respective graves.
