    I've gotten the sense for some time now that mediocrity is not only tolerated in this organization, but that it might even be the long-term goal, sad to say.

    They showed up the first 3 innings of game one and one inning yesterday, then basically took the rest of the series off. Disgusting is putting it verrry kindly.

    We desperately need someone to light a spark under this team and/or not be afraid to kick some significant behind in the clubhouse. Right now, we clearly don't possess any of that.

    I know it's a hypothetical question, but why do we generally seem to have such a difficult time against some of the dregs of the AL? Especially when most of our counterparts don't.

    AARGH. I'm not overly confident about our ability to score at least 3 runs in the next 2 innings. Except for the 3 runs in the 2nd, we've pretty much done squat offensively since the 4th inning of game 1. I hope we're not entering one of those kind of streaks again.

    He'll be lucky to get to the 5th at this rate. Not good at all today.

    Those numbers are so small, you almost need a microscope to see them. And yet, we don't need a microscope to see him in the lineup almost every game.
