  1. Well, with our puny offense, that might be the game right there.
  2. Naw, we're plenty good just as we are. We don't need no stinkin' help!
  3. Of course we didn't score with a runner in scoring position with none out. Why would we want to do anything that disgusting?
  4. Yet another game of pure offensive incompetence and ineptitude. Nothing unusual there.
  5. Throwing a lot more pitches per inning than he did the other day.
  6. Ball didn't even make it to the warning track.
  7. And I wouldn't bet against it happening tomorrow, too.
  8. Playing from behind yet again. This scenario is getting very old. AARGH!
  9. The Jay's are supposedly sending some cash back to help offset some of next season's $11M salary. Amount not specified.
  10. Gonna need some better innings near the start of games by the starters. Playing from behind almost from the get-go is not a good way to play a game. Going to be even more important as we near a difficult stretch of games after the upcoming KC series.
  11. How about the spot Parades had been covering, until he went on the IL, too? Same opinion?
  12. Not necessarily, but I don't think we can automatically rule it out right now.
  13. Maybe we are currently trying for Gausman, Ray, or someone else of that relative caliber. You don't know that and neither does anyone else on this board. We won't know for sure until the trade deadline passes.
  14. Probably a tad premature to call Reyes a real prospect at his age and limited experience level.
  15. Not sure why so many are up in arms about this trade. I'll admit that Kremer is no world beater, but he is a somewhat competent arm that can give the team some innings from a starter it can't get right now. Take out the 2 blowout appearances and his numbers aren't terrible. Reyes, while putting up decent numbers in Low A (and the DSL before that), is really nothing more than a long shot lottery ticket at this point in time. Maybe he makes a name for himself in professional baseball and maybe he doesn't. There's just no way to know right now. It's not like he was knocking on the door and we just gave up on him.
  16. He seems to be the right manager and right kind of personality for this team. Much more so than Rocco, at least as far as being a manager.
