    I think it was Larnach. Made worse in that there were 2 out. For the record, I'm not a fan of Watkins but in this particular case replay showed some poor baserunning. Weak secondary lead and jogging to third.

    The Dodgers' "anybody can play anywhere" defense model served them as well as it does Rocco and the Twins. "Mookie, get out there and try short, whydontcha?"

    Not necessarily true. Most often not, in fact. For example, If there's an error that prolongs an inning, followed by a 3 run jimmie-jack, the runs are unearned but the hitter still gets credit for 3 RBI.

    Took Mrs Chief to a horse racing track this afternoon. Thought it'd be fun. I picked this horse to win right at post time, she went off at 10 to 1. Nag finally finished at quarter to 3.

    If I accept the claim that 1 in 900 pitches results in an infield chopper--which I don't--explain how this is important.

    They didnt add a catcher at AAA. They swapped out Camargo for Pareda. I guess it's possible they expect Camargo to clear waivers and sign back with St Paul, off the 40 man. That would add a catcher.

    I dont understand trading only 1 of Jax/Duran. If you're trying to compete in 2026, deal neither. If not, deal both. Dealing only 1 is just more half-assing it. Serves neither goal. Id say both, as i dont see this team competitive in 2026. But either way, pick a lane.
