This list is a pretty damning piece of evidence in the prosecution's case in the "fire TR?" debate. Dominated by"unlikely's" and "impossible"s", and the rest consisting entirely of "we should be so lucky as for someone to claim him" and a couple "perhaps worth a bag of balls" types. How does a team end up in this position, year after year?

So it does matter...it's about a couple weeks big league pay, potentially service time. I hope Buxton files a grievance.

As for Hunter, he has been a welcome addition to this team, IMO, and the Twins have gotten more from him than they had any right to expect. But that has nothing to do with Buxton. Nothing. If they don't think Buxton is ready for the big leagues, fine. Just say so. But a couple weeks in AAA will do zero to remedy that, so that can't be it. And if he is ready, Torii Hunter shouldn't be an obstacle. Lastly, TR quit on this team a month ago, so please don't tell us this is about competing in 2015. That's laughable. This is a team still running Shane Robinson out, ferpetesake.
