    My crackpot theory: after the strip and TD return that got KS its only score, Kill decided the only way they lose is if the offense turns it over. So he punted trying to score, counting on the defense to pitch a shutout the rest of the way and win 10-7. Which worked, I guess, against Kent State, but doesn't say much good about what he thinks of his offense. And will be a tough way to win in the B1G.

    //copied from another source// Play Selection by Down Against Kent St 1st Down: 23 runs, 3 passes (1 pass was play action) 2nd Down: 14 runs, 11 passes 3rd Down: 4 runs, 16 passes (1 run was a QB sneak on 3rd and 1 and the other 3 runs came on the last 3 3rd downs of the game when they were nursing the lead) My own add: zero screen passes. Zero jet sweeps. Zero misdirection plays or reverses. If there was a read option, I missed it. Leidner was bad, again, but the play calling might be worse. O line play looks bad, but it's tough to tell when every opponent knows what play is coming before you do.
