Which hasn't been true at least in my (considerable) lifetime.
Actually sun in the eyes has never been an error. Even when scorekeepers had some sense of pride, if an outfielder didn't get a glove on a fly ball it was almost never ruled an error.
Similar for losing balls in the metrodome roof.
I don't subscribe to the idea that having pitchers pitch is mismanagement in any way.
There's zero evidence last year's innings total limits this year's.
