    Kintzler, Abad, Boshers, D. Santana and Suzuki are the highest on my list of tradeables. Playoff teams are always looking for RP, UTL guy's and C's this time of year. Actually, a little later. Santana: will depend on what can be done about the contract. I'd take a lower level-ish MiLBer to make the deal. Plouffe: right now, untradeable. If the new GM pushed for a clean start, Plouffe would be a backup guy here, at best. Which is kind of a shame for him to go out like that at only 30 yrs old. Let him find a new place to work. Nolasco? A plate of smelly cheese works for me. Me? I'm looking for more of a splash to give this rebuild a little more kick. I'd be looking to trade May or Gibson. Let Milone be someone else's AAAA guy.

    I keep reading about the SABR Defensive Index. I just don't know what to think of this. On one hand, it values statistics higher that the eyeball test. But it still takes into account things like "play by play accounts", "the number of "excellent" and "poor" fielding plays", "sure-handedness" and this little ditty: "Pitch framing by catchers is not currently included in the defensive metrics that comprise the SDI". I only point out that last one because it's such a hot topic now. What I'm getting at is it seems like an odd combination of stats and "defensive elements".

    ABW's 2016 season: 137k's in 312 AB's. K rate is 44% With his seasonal strikeouts increasing as he moves up the MiLB ladder, I don't see anyway of sugarcoating it.

    Rob Antony will not be the Twins GM. Rob Antony is not 'auditioning' for that role. He's been with the Twins since 1987. Career-wise, he should have been looking elsewhere a long time ago. What he is auditioning for is a job upgrade with another organization.
