  1. I'm pretty neutral on Brunansky. On one hand, I like to hear evidence that Brunansky is the problem. I think it's pretty clear: the league has a pretty good book on Twins hitters. On the other hand: If the players aren't listening to advice, who's problem is that? That will probably target Bruno because, right or wrong, it's easier to get rid of one person than many. Unless you bring up an entire MiLB roster
  2. "Stop trying to pull everything, you'll go blind"
  3. Packer fans are the Greatest! I should know
  4. Yep, and he tried to pull it. When will he learn?
  5. "Santana gliding underneath it, we hope." Oh, Dick........
  6. Oh, ouchie ouchie. Got both of them.
  7. and Hughes tried to hit him twice, and missed?? EMBARRASSING
  8. ok, why was Hughes trying to hit Donaldson?
  9. Perkins had a setback while soft tossing. Bad sign.
  10. Is this some kind of a fart joke??
  11. It's starting to feel like a Bill the Cat kinda day!
  12. Well, at least Bert had a good story about Ted Williams...
  13. 3 runs have scored and JUST NOW, FSN is showing the Twins defense graphic
  14. why isn't FSN using a Bullpen cam yet? Seems there's a lot more Twins action out there than on the field.
  15. COACH, COACH!! I GOT THAT WEAK SHOULDER THINGY AGAIN!! GET ME OUTTA HERE!! Molitor: me too...
  16. So, before stepping up on the mound, Hughes kneels to pray. Didn't seem to work....
  17. It's all that running around he's had to do lately
  18. You've got to admit, he's got really nice hair... http://cbn.pd.ak.o.brightcove.com/734546207001/734546207001_3601038509001_tom34-brian-dozier-vstill.jpg?pubId=734546207001
  19. What I find interesting about the lineup is no Sano. It's Ok if he needs a break, but I would think Santana and Nunez would have been higher on the list. Nunez hitting out of his mind. No kidding. But he's sustain it for 33 games!
  20. they needed a spark. they got that and a badly needed with. I'll take that.
  21. Over his few MLB starts, Berrios looked like he was really overthrowing. He should be following what Greg Maddox did in his career. Stuff wise, I think they're pretty close. Control-wise, not even.
  22. Agree with everything!
  23. You guys are funny. I'm not seeing an issue here. Ryan sends out feelers, get's a response that Grossman would be "OK". Ryan signs Grossman and for 2 games, produces. That's better than the superstar, can't miss, savior of the Twins many here have been clamoring for. It's clear that the signings of Grossman and Mastroianni is a pull back from prospects that just aren't ready yet. I can understand giving Sano more rope, but his stats over the past 15 games are not good, either. Or is it we're anti-productive outfielders?
  24. It's not a real awe inspiring article. But it does shed some light on management's involvement. http://www.startribune.com/twins-gm-ryan-we-are-in-dire-straits-here/380386061/ "“Probably more than ever,” Ryan said of his talks with Pohlad. "Some people are calling it panic. I get that, OK. We’re in a mode here where I better be creative enough to do some things to help along the cause. We’re struggling to a point where we haven’t been able to right it. So I’m going to have to do some things.” I don't know if I would have called it "panic". I'm more of the mind that: Last year was a mirage. The remains of this team from the Metrodome days benefited a lot from that environment. The star prospects from the Minor leagues were probably overrated by us fans. The fact that Ryan says ownership is concerned is something I don't remember ever hearing before. This following the Pohlad's "System wide failure" comment make me think that bigger changes are in the near future. Terry Ryan and crew have been successful in the past. Post-Metrodome, that is rapidly becoming the distant past. Time to thank Ryan and company for their service to the Twins and the 2 World Series wins, but it's time to move forward with a fresh approach.
