    I just can't understand how major league hitters can continue to stand up there and look at perfect pitches across the plate for strike 3.

    It wasn't anywhere close to being strike 3 but when a guy is dealing like Odorizzi is, blue will give him that pitch every time.

    When you can hear the 'BEER BEER BEER BEER BEER' guy, who handles his vending around the home plate area, all the way out in the RF stands, you know it's cavernous and quiet. Plus, you could clearly hear the pop of the catcher's mitt much easier there than anywhere else.

    I won't be in attendance tonite so a win should almost be a guarantee. I will give credit to the Trop for this much -- it's the only place in MLB where you can park next to the stadium for $15 and then have zero problem getting out of that lot after the game due to the lack of people. It's probably different when the Yankees and Red Sox come to town but I've never had an easier escape from a stadium parking lot.

    Kep got a bad break on that ball. He, like me, thought it was right to him off the bat and then someone stuck a pin in it and that one lost step was the difference.

    Falvine isn't making the decision to send those guys to the plate in that inning. Castro couldn't bat for Gimenez? Better yet, Gimenez couldn't get a freakin bunt down? What the hell good has he been since Castro went out other than throwing out a couple of baserunners? Zero. Average back below 200 and auditioning for Thunder Down Under with that stupid unbuttoned shirt look. I don't have as much of a problem with Adrianza batting there but then, I wouldn't have batted for Kepler either in the 8th.

    Exactly. This Goodrum thing is cute and all but I was a bit surprised to see him in the starting lineup for a pretty crucial game. And Gimenez needs about 4 games off with as bad as his bat is.
